Chinese calendar, Mayan calendar).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #2fd28e;\"><strong>3. a&nbsp;method of determining the beginning of a new day (sunrise, sunset, moonrise, north, south) and counting the length of the day and hour.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the most widely used calendar in the world is the Gregorian calendar &#8211; introduced on 15th October 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII.
